Look at this cute little owl that decided to visit our home construction project. The fledgling owl lives in a tree on our property.

This dog....
This dog is just adorable! And so are his parents!

Watch the video of him as a puppy. Too cute!
I am a regular visitor to her blog. Just precious!
Kingsley's antics crack me up (especially when he ate the couch).

Our little trouble maker
This is Favre. He is just one of our sweet furry kids. This little guy is one of the most loving, yet hell-raising, "gets in trouble all the time" cats ever. There is never a dull moment with him.
This photo was snapped shortly after pulling him out of the folds in the newly hung curtains. Notice his "but...but, I was having fun, mom" expression. I am sure he is plotting his next attack on my curtains as I am typing.

A music recommendation: I am in love with the movie Amelie. It's quite beautiful. Not surprisingly, the soundtrack is also divine. It's like magic to me. I am listening to it now.
I dare you to listen and try not to drift off into a wonderful daydream. Ahhhh...

Home Projects
So, this is what I have been up to (plus more & will post later). I sewed some curtain panels for our family room. I think they look nice. Do you?
Here's the semi-before pic.
Thank you to my N8 for hanging them. They are perfectly straight, darling!! You are awesome!
This is our new "stairs-family-friends-frame" wall. I haven't added any photos yet. I plan to order the prints very soon. It's difficult to pick which photos to insert. I have so many wonderful ones. In the center is the 'But We Don't Dance' print by Casey O'Connell that my husband got me for Easter. I love, love, love it!!! He spoils me.
(Ignore the air vent. The builder of our home must have been a "genius" to put a big ugly vent smack in the middle of our wall. Idiot!).
Anyway, I think it's still nice. I have always wanted a wall filled with photos of all my loved ones. I will add more and more as I can. I now always keep a look out for neat frames (hopefully on sale) to add to it.
Love,
GinnyBee

The zoo is cool at any age...
Hi...
From: Baker Headquarters
The above photo is of myself (middle), one of my best friends, Hayley (left) and Hayley's little sis (aka. my little sis), Blair. I adore these two women. They are wonderful in every way!! Hayley and Blair had their first borns literally one week apart. Harper (Hayley's daughter) and Hayden (Blair's son) just turned 2. OMG!
So, a zoo birthday was a must! :) Cannot even express how cute these two kiddos are!!! Harper is a sweet little girlie-girl who loves dolls and clothes. Hayden is all boy, trucks and cars. And turns out, Hayden loves Miss Ginny. He wanted me to hold him pretty much the whole time. He's a heavy little dude, well for someone who hasn't developed the "mom-arm-hip muscles" yet. I was a tad sore but worth every minute!!! Loved it!

Mind maps.....
While being terribly bored at my day job, I was looking for the end of the internet and found this. I'm definitely a "visual person" so this is right up my alley (I guarantee my sister needs this, too). Enjoy.
More info on the website is here: http://www.art-is-fun.com/create-a-mind-map.html
Check out her photorealism paintings, too. Amazing. Talented.

Bad Blogger, Bad.
Good morning Friends & Thursday!
I would like to start off by apologizing to LQ. I have been a bad blogger. Sorry sis! I will try harder.
I plan on doing a lot of blog catch-up this weekend. I have quite a bit to write about and oodles of photos to add of my latest adventures. (And of my latest projects)! Current project: Sewing new curtains for our family room and yard work! I love doing yard work. :)
Until next time, here is a photo of my furry love, Titan.
Wink-wink,
Ginny
